Four ways to play
Every mode is five rounds and up to 10,000 points a round — what changes is how the place is revealed to you.
- Time Slider — drag to fade today's Street View over a historical photo
- Scratch Quest — brush the old image away to uncover the new one
- Spot On — one photo, no help, put the pin exactly where it was taken
- Mapster — a satellite view with no labels, across ten themes
Alone or against friends
Any mode can be played solo, or as a session where everyone gets the same five locations.
- Up to 20 players in one session, on their own time
- Standings update as each player finishes a round
- Gold and Platinum open sessions; anyone can join one by link
- Sessions stay open for seven days, so nobody has to be online at once
Golden Tickets buy hints
A ticket unlocks a clue about the location — and unlike revealing the image, a hint costs you no points at all.
- 10 to start, then 3 a month free, 10 with Gold, 20 with Platinum
- Earned by Daily Trip streaks, weekly top-3 finishes and creating locations
- Up to 5 hints in a single round
- Buyable in packs if you run dry
One trip a day, worldwide
Daily Trip gives every player on the planet the same five locations, in each of the four modes.
- Fixed settings, so the run is the same challenge for everyone
- Resets at midnight UTC and never counts against your daily limit
- Scores stack up on the weekly leaderboard, Monday to Sunday
- Play five days in a week for bonus tickets, seven for more

Your profile keeps the running record; the leaderboard is where the week is settled.
- Weekly Daily Trip standings, counted per mode
- Top three in a mode take 10, 5 and 2 tickets — if at least 3 players finished
- Rounds played on Unlimited are not ranked
- Your profile holds your stats, badge, ticket balance and membership
How far an account gets you
Playing without one works, but the daily allowance is what separates the tiers.
- Guest — one Time Slider round a day, no tickets
- Free — 3 a day across Time Slider and Scratch Quest, 3 each for Spot On and Mapster
- Gold — 10 a day, creates multiplayer sessions and your own locations
- Platinum — 20 a day per mode, unlimited session creation
